Located along the shore of the beautiful and historic Peshtigo River on the north side of the City of Peshtigo, WI, Riverside Cemetery has existed for well over a century. The first formal property deed was recorded in 1892. Generations of local citizens, reaching all the way back to numerous survivors of the famous Peshtigo Fire of 1871 have chosen our cemetery as their final resting place.
Shaded by pine, oak and maples, the peaceful and picturesque grounds are lovingly maintained by our dedicated staff. A Board of Trustees, consisting of volunteers elected by our plot owners and their families through the generations provides management continuity.
We welcome all visitors and encourage you and your family to come and enjoy our beautiful grounds, meditate and care for the graves of family members and friends. Spend time at the Veteran's Memorial area honoring local heroes who served our nation in war and peace as log ago as the Civil War and as recently as Iraq and Afghanistan.
We will be pleased to assist you with locating the resting place of loved ones, answering any questions regarding cemetery operations or securing a burial plot for yourself or family members.
